Breast Cancer Donations

Please join with me in supporting other individuals who are raising money to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Many of us have had our lives touched by knowing someone that has had cancer and it is my hope that one day everyone will be a survivor! I have created some special pieces and worked with Loraine at Waterfront Glass who is a wonderful local glass artist to create some special glass beads. The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Participants raise a minimum of $2,200 a piece in order to have the privilege of walking in this amazing event. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment. At least 40% of your purchase price of the following pieces will be directed to raise money for 3-Day walk participants Annie and Mike Dubrouillet. About the Artist

I have been designing jewelry for years. I enjoy wire working and working with glass, stones, crystals and pearls. Some of my favorite glass beads are vintage or produced by local artists. Many of the glass beads come from Germany and the Czech Republic.

Glass beads and Swarovski crystals make beautiful jewelry. Gemstones and pearls add a new dimension and quality to pieces. Each stone has its own uniqueness and there are endless color combinations to create with. Some of my favorite stones to work with are apatite, aquamarine, iolite, Peruvian blue opal, chalcedony, carnelian, peridot, citrine, rainbow moonstone, tourmaline. and new stones like green amethyst and white topaz.

I hand select my stones and silver. I do not use base metals, plastics, or imitation stones. I hand craft my jewelry with sterling silver or 14K gold-fill.
